Bio

Julien began his career in London in 2006. He established himself through the years working alongside some of the most acclaimed colorists in the industry. He brings over a decade of experience and a magnetic enthusiasm to his craft.

Throughout his prolific career, Julien has provided color grading for commercial work along with film and music videos. Clients including Porsche, Jeep, KitchenAid, Ted Baker, Samsung and Cannes double Grand Prix-winning Volvo “Life Paint” are included in his list.

In the world of music, his credits include promos for Run the Jewels, Jungle, Jamiroquai, FKA twigs, and The Weeknd to name a few. He was awarded two Kinsale Shark awards for best color grading in 2015 and 2016.

A few of his most recent collaborations includes Porsche’s “The Heist,” the brand’s first Super Bowl commercial in 23 years for Super Bowl LVI, which is nominated for 3 AICP Post Show awards. Julien also colored “As Fast As Her” for the Chicago Blackhawks in recognition for female hockey player Kendall Conye’s contribution to the sport, winner of a 2020 Telly Award & now nominated at the NHL Fan Choice Awards.

Avid skier and cyclist, Julien was born and educated in the French Alps. Previously based in London, Julien joined Carbon as Senior Colorist in 2018 and now resides in Chicago.
